Cart Description

Gameboy DMG and Gameboy Color Little Sound DJ (LSDJ) cart. This cart can also be used as an MBC5 flash cart. The cartridges use repurposed Nintendo Mapper ICs from damaged and "shovelware" Gameboy games along with new parts and a custom made PCB.

LSDJ ROM

All carts by default will come with the latest version of LSDJ. If you would like another version of LSDJ programmed to the cart please let me know when ordering.

Cart Hardware:

Flash Rom - 28F008 based 1MB Flash, or - 28F016 based 2MB Flash (1MB flash is the minimum required for LSDJ)
Save Ram - Battery Backed 128KB (1Mib) SRAM
Mapper - Original MBC5 Mapper
Battery - Tabbed CR2025

For programming:

GBxCart RW use "DIY 28F016S5 @ AUDIO" setting with 2 MiB ROM size for both 1MiB and 2MiB carts, 1M SRAM (128KiB) save type, and MBC5 Mapper (1MB carts cannot have 2MB games written to them, this is the only available mode that can write to the 1MB Flash IC used).
