This little WiFi TAG# broadcasts wireless network named ESP_XXXXXXXX , just use the network scanner on your smartphone or laptop and follow signal until gets higher and higher.
Some software can measure with accuracy dBm signal strenght, so just need to connect to this ESP_XXXXXXXX open network and measure precise dBm signal (Can also use encriptation WPA2 AES TKIP). Can use raspberry pi Banana Pi Cubieboard Odroix to scan networks or connect to it to enable code development arround position by WiFi signal strength with one or multiple WiFi TAG's Robot position inside building WiFi Tracking, opening doors on wifi signal, or under some dBm threshold. Used on rescue, if lost turn ON to brodcast signal arround for easy finding. Easy track under water at low distances. Cargo tracking . Each module broadcast it's own hexadecimal ID, non repetable. FCC certified module. Just plug micro USB 5V supply and ready to go! Or specific application can use small LiPo Battery with small DC/DC step up/down converter to get 5V or 3V3 from LiPo Low power consuption only 69mA (working arround 15hours on a small 1000mA LiPo cell) Track objects, people, items, veicules, animals etc. Anti deaf on any thing . The closer to the TAG your smartphone or laptot is, the stronger the signal. With good wireless device can reach 500m or more, depending on sensitivity of receiver (smartphone, laptop, router, tablet). Good for DRONES in case of failure with lost of view. It will brodcast a WiFi network in radius of 500m open area. Just go picking the signal on smartphone and u have found it! Powerfull 25dBm output! More than most routers with 18dBm or 21dBm 4times powerfull than 18dBm . Can lower output power to precise locate at closer distances. Low power consumption. Based on ESP8266 module.
