This is the Power Distribution Board, the quiet backbone of your DIY synth or logic setup. It’s a compact, fully modular power hub designed to feed all your experimental circuits from a single source — cleanly, safely, and without headaches.

You can connect it to a DC barrel jack or even power it from a 9V battery (there’s a dedicated space on the PCB for one). If you install the optional Full Bridge Rectifier, the polarity will always be correct — no matter how you connect your power supply. That means one less thing to worry about while patching or experimenting.

Why I made it

After building several sound boards — from the Hex Oscillator to My Small Amp — I kept running into one small problem: power management. Too many jumper wires, reversed polarities, and messy breadboard setups.

So I designed this board to make everything modular, organized, and safe. It lets you run multiple boards at once, toggle power with a single switch, and instantly see when your system is active thanks to the onboard LED.
