74HC595 Breakout Board v1 – Kit Description

This is the first version of a simple breakout board designed for the 74HC595 shift register. It allows easy prototyping and use of 7-segment displays, LEDs, or other devices controlled via serial-to-parallel data.

Supports four 74HC595 shift registers

Included in Kit:

1x PCB v1

4x 74HC595 IC

1x 10µF ceramic capacitor

4x 7 Segment displays

4x 330 Ohm resistors

1x 2-pin male header

1x 4-pin male header

Notes for Assembly:

This is a DIY kit; all parts must be soldered by the user.

This v1 board has two small solder bridges that must be manually bridged using solder or a wire.

The board was hand-designed and tested. It has minor layout limitations but functions as intended
