This custom riser board enables you to add an extra NVMe SSD to specific Lenovo Tiny systems by providing a full-speed PCIe connection to an M.2 slot.

The board is fully verified and working with the following models:

• ThinkCentre M90q Gen 1 & Gen 2 (Tiny6 platform — Intel 10th & 11th Gen Core CPUs)

• ThinkStation P340 Tiny

• ThinkStation P350 Tiny

⚠️ Compatibility limitations:

• NOT compatible with newer P360 Tiny / P360 Ultra / P3x0 Tiny series

• NOT compatible with older Tiny generations (Tiny5 and earlier)

The riser supports regular standard M.2 NVMe drive lengths:2230, 2242, 2260, 2280

Any PCIe NVMe form factor listed above can be installed. (SATA M.2 drives are not supported.)

PCIe Link Speed Note:

Even though the M90q platform provides PCIe Gen4 capability on the CPU lanes, the NVMe slot created by this riser connects through the PCH, meaning the drive will operate at PCIe Gen3 speeds — this is expected and not a limitation of the board.

This board works with Lenovo risers FRU: 5C50W00877. Basically if you are looking for any of the risers with the FRU codes mentioned above, this riser will do the same job and will allow you access to an extra 4 lane NVMe M.2 slot.

Additional Details:

• The x8 PCIe slot is open at the end, allowing for the installation of longer cards, such as x16 GPUs, providing greater flexibility in hardware choices. (Make sure to solder the Force GPU Detect bridge on the back of the board if 16x card is not detected)

• Does not require removal of the small Bluetooth antenna bracket for installation (same as the original Tiny5 riser).
