This Wemos D1 Mini Pro ESP8266 Internet of Things Development Board has the same footprint and size as a standard Wemos D1 Mini, but it has both a built-in ceramic antenna or an external antenna (needs soldering skills). This gives it better WiFi range than a normal PCB antenna. Good for projects in the garden or far from an access point.

These tiny IoT development boards are perfect for home automations projects. They can be flashed with the open source Tasmota firmware to use Home Automation applications of MQTT messages to control devices and read sensors.
The board comes with:
** PLEASE NOTE: By default, the on-board ceramic chip antenna is used by the ESP8266. The uFL connector can be used instead by moving an 0603 surface mount zero ohm resistor. If you do not have a capability to do this, I can move it for you before I send it to you. Select the option in the side bar when ordering.
This board is compatible with my 4 Channel MOSFET Shield for Wemos D1 Mini ESP8266 and I use it in my home automation projects.
