What is it?

This is a device that only takes one 18650 LiPo Battery to operate and it will, at the push of a button, emit the old fax/modem sound that computers make on a phone line. In doing so this device will confuse Robo Call systems into thinking they have gotten a Fax number instead of a personal number. This way your number is most likely discarded and not dialed again.

Why did you make it?

I was getting so many Robo Calls on my phone it was crazy. Then I read on some technical forums that if you can play the sound of a modem/fax connecting that it can sometimes confuse the Robo Call system into thinking it is a fax/computer. I figured if I could make that a simple pocket sized device that will make the sound this would be great.
