For Arduino IDE programmig, adding board support process is needed. Detailed can be found in the relevant project at hackaday. Please refer it before programming.

**One thing to be added regarding clock speed and power supply voltage:

(Case: USB cable connected) ATMega1284P in ULTRA is working at 3.3 V/16 MHz by FTDI embedded 3.3V voltage regulator

(Case: USB de-touched) We should apply 3.3V between VC/GN terminal on ULTRA

Anyway, ULTRA is 3.3V system!**

Why did you make it?

I made a SDcard sized Arduino "SDuino" before. But SD card form can not fully activate the potential of MCU, and this time I made a "successor" of SDuino. I would like to introduce "ULTRA". It is based on ATMega1284P, OLED display on-board, micro SD card socket on-board, FTDI-USB interface on-board. Everything you will need for prototyping is prepared on-board for you!

What makes it special?

In the almost same size as Arduino Pro? Mini? (small sized Arduino), this board has full function as shown in the above explanation!

Another Japanese Masterpiece

I am using it with a stepper motor controller. Very easy to use, well documented, unique and Made in Japan.

No documentation

I was hoping for an Arduino that I could program to use its display.
No documentation. I tried various Arduino configurations with no luck. Tried to reach vendor. No luck yet.

Hello and thank you for precise comment.
I've confirmed your question at relevant hackaday project and answered it there. I would like to repeat the answer as, for Ultima programming at Arduino IDE, we need Atmega1284P support by "board manager" on IDE. Exact procedure to add Atmega1284P is described at https://hackaday.io/project/13088-minimal-and-self-contained-atmega1284p-mod-chip .
