What is it?

I2S 2-ch MEMS Microphone unit with two Knowles SPH0645LM4HB, which can be connected to various development boards supporting I2S, including Raspberry Pi and ESP32.

Why did you make it?

In my previous item (ESP32 ADB type_R), I successfully handled this MEMS microphone. But I guess, this wonderful microphone can be used by Raspberry Pi users and more...

What makes it special?

Wonderful I2S MEMS microphone. Indeed voice is A/D converted and formulated to I2S inside a very tiny package. A/D inside the tiny package and no analogue signal path on board. NO Codec is needed!!
Knowles has a detailed datasheet and we can explore this tiny device with lots of MCU supporting I2S interface
