It is not difficult but SSID and password are hard-coded and this board will NOT work like "just delivered, and open package and connect power supply" We can find lots IP-CAM in market and if you just want to get IP-CAM, another commercial product is far better choice for you. This board is intended not just for"getting IP-CAM" but "getting knowledge and new and interesting experience of ESP32". Again, if you don't need any experience of ESP32 nor programming experience, this is NOT suitable for you.
Antenna impedance matching circuit is added for better wireless link
On-board GPIO13 and 14 terminal are removed for better singal transmission on PCB
Other information are the same as original one. **
Tiny Motion-JPEG (MJPEG) video streamer by ESP32-PICO-D4 with OV2640 2MP CMOS Camera. Streaming video can be watched through remote PC or Smart-phone.
As far as I know, still no board with ESP32-PICO-D4 appears on the market. In addition, no camera-enabled WiFi module has appeared yet. Making video streamer program is quite fun and useful and very good exercise for engineers, but we have to combine a lot of wires between the camera and MCU and Wifi. This board already contains everything!
Very up-to-date ESP32-PICO-D4 is on-board as main processor with WiFi and Bluetooth function
2-Mega Pixel CMOS Camera OV2640 is on-board (backside-mount)
64x32 SSD1306 OLED is on-board, for some data display (for example, self IP address for DHCP environment)
Lipo Charger is on-board. Jumper can enable/disable(USB-bus power) its circuit. Please see details in the image
Double-decker structure. Lower-deck has CP2102, USB-Serial with two transistor for ESP32 peripheral. Once programming is done, lower deck can be de-touched.
Sample code is available at github, which OLED function is added to the great original source by igrr.. SSID/password is currently "hard-coded", where we have to write at "make menuconfig" of esp-idf.
Operation confirmed MJPEG video player: iOS "IP Camera Lite" free version, OSX: IP Camera Viewer 2
Note for ordering
This board is not for a beginner of ESP32. At lease, we should prepare esp-idf in advance to use this board.
Please ALWAYS attach Lipo battery (with enabling Lipo-charger circuit by on-board jumper setting) for stable binary uploading. CMOS Camera with ESP32 initializing takes some current, which can be covered by the attached Lipo battery, may not be covered by USB-Bus power alone.
