This is an add-on card based on the Parallax Propeller multicore microcontroller designed to add tile, sprite and bitmap graphics support to the RC2014 computer.

• Sprites with 8x8 up to 32x32 pixels

• Bitmap graphics modes 320x240 8 colors, 256x192x4bpp and 256x224 16 colors
• RGB PAL, NTSC and VGA output

Notes

• This is the PCB only, all other parts must be obtained separately. A full kit is also available here.
• The firmware is still under development. Precompiled binary files are provided on GitHub Releases page, however if you decide the build this board, be prepared to compile the firmware from sources and have the necessary devices to program serial EEPROMs (either a Prop-Plug adapter for in-circuit programming or a stand-alone EEPROM programmer).
• This is not a replacement for my other ANSI / VT-100 board, there is no input of any kind nor any terminal emulation.
• Requires the Propeller GCC toolchain to compile the firmware source.
• Requires a Prop-Plug device or a stand-alone programmer to write the firmware on the EEPROM.
• Uses I/O ports 40H-43H, make sure you don't have other cards with the same address range installed.
