This custom ESP32 PCB acts as a powerful, non-intrusive smart bridge. It is designed specifically for the Zehnder ComfoAir E300 and E400 models (not compatible with the Q-series). It allows you to transform your existing unit into a truly smart, responsive system, eliminating the need for expensive, separate adapters.

Key Features:

• Full Automation Power: Never manually adjust your ventilation again! Gain full fan speed control by overriding the unit's 0−10V input signal. Automate control completely using Home Assistant sensors and scripts. Stop pressing the button after a shower, or when cooking—let your humidity, power, or CO2 sensors do the work!

• Seamless Integration: Control the fan and read the existing Zehnder CO2​ value from the connected sensor directly within Home Assistant (via ESPHome or similar).

• Existing CO2​ Sensor Passthrough: Unique design allows you to connect your existing Zehnder CO2​ sensor (which uses a 0−10V analog signal) in between the sensor and the ComfoAir unit. The ComfoConnect reads the actual CO2​ value and can then use Home Assistant automation to send its own 0−10V signal to the unit, thus setting the fan speed.

• No Extra Power Adapter Needed: The unit conveniently draws power (12V DC) directly from the ComfoAir unit's sensor line, resulting in a cleaner, plug-and-play installation.

• Ready for Zigbee: The hardware is designed to support a dedicated Zigbee bridge module (not supported by ESPHome yet, but ready for future development).

• Easy Installation: Comes complete with a sturdy, aesthetic enclosure and clickable screw terminals for easy, secure wiring—no soldering required!

• While most 3D prints are made of flammable plastics, this enclosure is printed with industrial-grade PC FR. It meets the strict UL94 V-0 fire safety requirements, ensuring the same level of protection as injection-molded industrial housings.
