What is it?

This is a LoRa Modem on an TTGO T-Internet-PoE ESP32 board. It is currently used for an APRS iGate for LoRa APRS.

Why did you make it?

Some time ago I had the issue that the current implementations for LoRa APRS are just running on Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi is a good platform, but it is still too expensive in my eyes as an iGate can also run on one of the cheep ESP32 boards. So I started to develop a iGate Firmware for the ESP32 LoRa boards. After some time there was the need for an ethernet board.

What makes it special?

It is running more stable than the WiFi versions and is completely open source/hardware.

What will you get?

You will get the LoRa modem board in a kit form. It is including everything which can be soldered on the PCB, like:

• LoRa Modem (Ra-02) (433MHz)
• OLED 0.96''
• 2 buttons
• 8x2 pinheader to connect to PoE board
• 6x1 pinheader to connect the programer board to the PoE board (this pinheader is not included in the PoE board)

You can order a separately screw set which will include:

• 6x 3M spacer bolts
• 4x 3M 12mm screws
• 4x 3M nuts

IMPORTANT: The TTGO T-Internet-PoE board is NOT included in the kit! You have to order it by yourself via Aliexpress or Tindie from Lilygo.

What else do you need?

There are still parts which you have to order:

• TTGO T-Internet-PoE board
• Pigtail from IPEX to SMA or 433MHz antenna
