ENV is an envelope generator with 3 stages, two times switchable via a lever switch, trigger button to release the envelope independent of the gate input, and two outputs, one with the envelope adjusted by the stages and the second an inverse output which can be used in filters, for example. The status LED will only be activated when one of the outputs is connected. When stopped, the ENV module is extremely silent, as it does not allow small signals of the enveloped sound to “leak”. This leak normally occurs because the electrolytic capacitor responsible for the voltage that generates the envelope does not discharge completely. But in ENV this was solved with the use of a JFET transistor that helps in completely discharging the envelope. The module comes with: a flat cable for connection to the power source and two stainless screws for fixing to the eurorack.
