This listing is for the Audio Module bottom part which requires installation in the Quansheng UV-K5 TRX . It has been developed to enhance the audio quality in USB/LSB/CW modes. While AM and FM modes exhibit good audio, it was observed that audio levels were somewhat low in side-band modes.

Purpose

The creation of this mod stemmed from the need to address the audio quality disparity between different modes. To tackle this issue, an audio pre-amp with a gain of 50-100 was devised. Once integrated, this pre-amp offers the necessary audio boost for side-band modes.
