Read More…The ADX Mini QRP tuner designed by Scott Baker KJ7NLA is a Pi-Network Antenna Tuner consisting of two arrays of hex switches configured to act as a variable capacitor and also four inductors with binary values 1,2,4uh with switches across them to act as one inductor and according to the switches position varies the inductance.
Also on the board there is an SWR indicator circuit which which allows the user to tune the antenna correctly and detect any high SWR while setting the qrp tuner. the high swr is indicated by the use of an led.
Since going on POTA contest , this tuner is very small and lightweight and does the job.
The QRP ANTENNA TUNER is a versatile gadget that allows you to tune any vertical or horizontal antenna very easily.
