What is Nokino?

Nokino turns your old Nokia 3310 into a programmable game console. It replaces the original PCB while using the original Nokia screen, speaker, buttons, and case.

It's compatible with Gamebuino Classic and Makerbuino. This means you can load a bunch of pre-made games via a Micro SD card, or program your own using the Gamebuino library for Arduino.

What's included?

An assembled PCB with loaded firmware ready to fit into a Nokia 3310 and play games.

What's not included?

To use Nokino, you will need:

• A 2GB Micro SD card with games
• A Nokia 3310 with shell, screen module, and working battery

Errata

This is the first version of the board and there are a few shortcomings to be aware of:

• The device charges by USB-C, but sketches/games cannot be loaded by USB because of a chip miswiring. If you want to load your own games however, you can still upload .hex files to the Micro SD card.

• The board is a little thick. It still fits within a Nokia 3310 shell, but the front cover won't seat perfectly.

Other than that, Nokino V1.0 works great!
