Shipping policy

Processing time

Your order will be processed and you will receive the tracking number within 1–3 business days. Then the package will be delivered to the post office within 1–4 business days.

We ship every Monday and Thursday.

In special cases, such as when we are on vacation, a notice will appear on the page indicating when order processing will resume.

Shipment tracking

You should receive an email with the link where you can check the tracking number. It can also be checked on third-party platforms such as ParcelsApp or 17track:

Please replace the XXXX with your tracking number.

All shipments are sent from Spain using Correos Spain. Once the shipment arrives in the destination country, it is usually possible to continue tracking it on the local state-owned postal service website.

Notes for USA:

Shipments in this country are managed by the United States Postal Service (USPS) once they arrive in the United States.

If you are not at home during the first delivery attempt, USPS may not leave a notification. Your package may remain at the local postal office for weeks and may eventually be returned to us if it is not collected.

Please actively monitor your tracking information and contact your local post office if necessary.

Customs, duties, and taxes

For European customers (EU intra-community countries), VAT is already included in the product price. No additional charges will be applied upon delivery.

For shipments to the United States and US territories, customs duties are already included in the product price, so no additional charges will be required upon delivery.

For all other countries, customs duties and taxes may need to be paid upon pickup or delivery, depending on local regulations and import thresholds.

Customs fees paid to government authorities (including US customs duties) are non-refundable, even if a shipment is returned due to an incorrect address or non-collection.

The giltesa’s shop is not responsible for customs duties or taxes except where explicitly collected during checkout. All other fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer.

Damages

If you see that the package arrives damaged, please take photos before opening it.

Whether the package is damaged or not, please test the products as soon as possible. In general, the products can be tested without installing them. Check the Returns Policy for more details.

Delayed, Lost, Returned, or Damaged Shipments

If your shipment has not arrived within the estimated delivery time, please contact us so we can file a claim with Correos Spain. They will coordinate with your country’s postal service to investigate the status of the package. Since international shipments involve multiple courier companies, the resolution process may take up to 2 months, although it is usually resolved within 3 weeks.

Once the issue has been resolved, we will proceed accordingly:

• Held at a postal office: If your order is available for pickup at a postal office, we will inform you of the location so you can retrieve it.
• Returned shipment: If the package is returned due to non-collection or an incorrect delivery address, you will need to wait until we receive it before a reshipment or refund can be arranged. Shipping and customs duties are non-refundable.
• Lost shipment: If the package is confirmed as lost and the selected shipping method includes insurance, we can either resend the items or provide a full refund, based on your preference.
• Damaged shipment: If your package arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the package and the products so we can arrange an appropriate solution.

Returns

Unless stated otherwise, our return policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since you received the package, unfortunately we can’t start a return.

To be eligible for a return, the item must show a tracking scan within 15 days of the return being authorized or the return will be closed. The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging. Missing packaging may result in additional restocking fees.

Please allow 7–10 business days to process your return. Business days are Monday–Friday.

When purchasing modification kits or any electrical equipment/components, you are expected to have the appropriate experience and knowledge. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse or negligence.

All charging board kits are tested before shipping. Upon receipt, a bench test must be performed before installation to ensure no damage occurred during transit.

We do not offer refunds for defective items, only exchanges. If you choose to return a defective item for a refund, standard refund policies apply and you will be responsible for return shipping. Fraudulent returns may result in partial refunds and restriction from future purchases.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once we receive your return, please allow 7–10 business days for inspection and processing. If approved, the refund will be applied to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Please note that Stripe and PayPal do not refund payment processing fees, and these fees will be deducted from the total refund amount.

Defective items

If your item is defective or damaged, you must contact us within 15 days of delivery to be eligible for an exchange.

We only offer exchanges for unused defective items. Refunds for defective items are not offered unless processed under the standard refund policy, in which case the buyer is responsible for return shipping.

Order cancellations

Orders may be eligible for cancellation before a shipping notification is issued. Please contact us as soon as possible.

Returns

To return your product, contact us.

You are responsible for paying your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping costs will be deducted from any approved refund.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee receipt of returned items.
