This is an easy to program low cost decade capacitance board designed to assist you in rapid electronics prototyping to support design engineers, hackers and general education requirements.
This board is fully assembled and ready to use.
This is a complementary tool to my Seven Decade Programmable Resistance
If you use a breadboard or similar for prototyping for analog circuits, especially op amp and linear circuits or micro controller project like PIC, AVR or Arduino there will always be that time where you need that specific capacitance but do not have it to hand, or you want to try something with a range of capacitors to see the response of your circuit, this is where a programmable resistor comes into its own. This unit can be easily programmed from 100pF through to 9.9999uF in 100pF steps and can work up to 100V, its easy to dial in the specific value you need within a just a few seconds.
It is also possible to easily remove the terminal block connector and replace with 4mm Banana Sockets if you need to - there are already holes in the board to accommodate this.
