What is it?

This is a plug-in companion module for the ADU100 from ONTRAK Control Systems. It provides a fixed 5V output from banana jacks and allows monitoring both output voltage and current through the ADU100 interface.

Why did you make it?

I wanted a USB-powered rail-mounted device to power and monitor devices like the Arduino UNO.

What makes it special?

The ADU100 uses a libusb interface, allowing easy software development under Windows and Linux. ONTRAK Control Systems publishes sample C-code making it easy to develop software interfaces for many programming languages. My ilogger demonstration software uses a Tcl interface created with SWIG.
