This is an ESP8266 demo board equipped with 4 tact buttons and a IPS 2.4" TFT LCD. With a 3d printed case, it could be placed on your desktop served as a weather station. With the ESP8266 wifi feature, it could be served as other information terminal that could fetch information from internet and display on the TFT screen. You can place the board with its 3d printed housing on your desk or stick it on the wall, and two microUSB ports are embeded on the board, both of them can be used to program and power the unit.
The example usage of the board here is a weather station with the well-known Thing-pulse weather station code. Due to the none touching screen used here, I have made some modifications to the original code to satisfy my board. The touching sense on Thing-pulse is replaced by 2 physical buttons, which makes it no affections to all of the functions that the code provides. There is another weather station code called "OpenWeather", you can also flash the code on your board.
For the housing, you can download the STL file and print by yourself. If you can't access to a 3d printer, we have an option choice for a 3d printed case add-on.
