ESP32-C6 Zigbee/WiFi to 855-925MHz Wireless Communication Interface Board

Overview

This compact board uses the ESP32-C6 to bridge Zigbee or WiFi networks with 855-925MHz wireless communication.

Why I Built It

Many heating and ventilation systems use the Honeywell Ramses II protocol, which allows them to send and receive messages at 868 MHz. This board lets you integrate those systems into your smart home, for example with Home Assistant. Personally, I have an Orcon ventilation unit in my house, which I can now control using this board.

What sets it apart?

• One of the few boards based on the ESP32-C6
• Supports Zigbee (not yet implemented for the Ramses II communication) and WiFi
• Includes GitHub repos and pre-designed 3D-printable housing for easy project completion
• Great for DIY automation and prototyping
• Incorporates a module with the popular CC1101 of Texas Instruments. Incorporated in a module, which makes it more robust.
