The PH2.0 reverse battery connector has been upgraded to the PH1.25 forward battery connector.
An external input protection diode has been added to prevent current from flowing back into the USB.
The component positions were adjusted and the charging circuit was re-optimized, which improved heat dissipation and made the circuit run more stably.

What is it ?

Deauther Mini is a portable WiFi penetration testing development board specifically designed for cybersecurity research, education, and geek enthusiasts. It is based on the popular ESP8266 chip and pre-installed with the renowned Deauther firmware written by Spacehuhn.

No complex code configuration is required. Just press a button and you can visually test and explore the vulnerabilities and mechanisms of 802.11 wireless networks in the palm of your hand. It is the perfect "entry-level" hacking hardware for you to understand WiFi security and enhance your awareness of protection.

Deauther Mini originated from the nodemcu development board. You can still regard the latest V4 version as an improved NodeMCU development board.

Excellent board

I'm very pleased with the DSTIKE MiNi V3, it's not too expensive and has a great OLED display as well as USB-C port. It's not got the best radio range, but there's plenty of things you could do to help it, like following the video guide on removing a resistor or by constructing a parabolic reflector. I've been mostly getting into coding with this thing, and it has enough memory to do basically whatever I want to do with it.

The seller is also very friendly and quick to respond when it came to another product I ordered, so there's no doubt that if my MiNi V3 came damaged, or if I had an issue, I would have received timely help.

It took 13 days to ship to Australia, something that I thought wasn't possible. Cheers to the seller for using a super quick shipping option! :)

My only criticism and something that would be nice to see in a potential V4 release, is if the LED on the back could be removed. There's two LEDs on the front that I can control easily, but there's one on the back that seems to just stay on no matter what I do. It's not too annoying, but I think the two LEDs on the front would be enough.

Excellent build quality!

This is an awesome little gadget. I bought it to test a bunch of routers to see if they are vulnerable to this attack, and my main router sadly is vulnerable. I have talked to the manufacturer, and hopefully they will issue a firmware update.

The item comes from China, but the shipping to Canada was *insanely* fast. Definitely less than a week, which is amazing considering the state of global shipping at the moment.

The fact that it comes with a spare battery connector is just a really nice touch! I often don't have JST connectors on hand so the inclusion of one is super thoughtful. Build quality is very nice. The OLED is nice and crisp. The only confusing thing is the white LED. There's an option to turn it on in the menu, which then blinds you until you turn it off. I suppose you could use it as a flashlight, but it seems like a weird thing to add to this board. Maybe there is a reason for it that I'm missing?

The documentation is excellent. Using the device is super easy -- the OLED interface is very responsive and fast. Due to the limitations of the ESP8266, it slows to a crawl if you try to use the web interface and the OLED interface at the same time. This isn't the fault of the developer, it's just a lot of work for this processor to handle. Unless you have a reason to, just use the OLED interface. It also has a serial interface in case something goes wrong and you need to debug.

Of course, the firmware and code is freely available, so you can use any ESP8266 board. I tried it with my Adafruit HUZZAH before the DSTIKE arrived, and it worked fairly well, but the OLED interface is just way faster and easier to use.

Overall, I am extremely impressed and super happy with my purchase!

Awesome

This is legit. I actually bought the device with the purpose of putting my own code on it for some RFID stuff I'm doing. The interface is really nice. I'm surprised at how well the Mini V2 works. There are a lot of options and it's super simple to use. I'm not going to erase this device. I'm going to have to buy a second one for my RFID work.

Shipping was slow right now but that's understandable with Covid-19. I've purchased something from the seller previously and received it quickly.

Happy

Knew about the deauther by youtube channels Nullbyte and Seytonic. This got me curious how it works and wanted to learn more by buying one.Really satisfied with the costumer service. At first had problems with a faulty usb cable that i connected and the deauther wasn't responding so notified to the costumer service thinking that it was defective but later then i used a good one and eveything ok. (Sorry Again) Haven't kick anybody from their wifi but had a lot of fun with the ssid random mode feature. It works fine but just one concern, maybe it's nothing: Is it normal that green light is full and the red light keeps blinking? I'm using a 2000mAh mini battery bank 5V 1A.
Any suggestions or recommendations? Thank You!

Deauther is exactly as advertised

I practically never write reviews, however I feel compelled to do so for this product. I received the Deauther Mini V2 earlier than expected. I was skeptical that, I a layman of electrical components would be able to work this Mini V2 as advertised. After fiddling around with it briefly my concerns was no more. It works perfectly and couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend this Deauther too anyone wanting a bare Bones WiFi Deauther.

Cool - now I can get revenge on my neighbors

This thing actually works, even on secure network.
I might order a few more because it is awesome.

It has an LCD with a menu and can be controlled by joystick.
A good thing would be a case and a battery, which would turn this into a mobile hacking device.

Great! Geared for more of a DIY

Just like the V3, it's a great device. The only con about this board is it doesn't come with an acrylic front peice, and maybe a bottom to fit a small battery pack because this is nice and small and would fit small drone batteries perfect, and have a nice pH 2.0 connection to connect a battery or battery pack etc. You're not just limited to the micro USB and the 18 650. That would definitely be a game changer to add and acrylic setup to this board, possibly a small battery pack. That would make it the ultimate grab-and-go, super compact device thats ready to go out the box. Amazing product, i expect nothing less from spacehuhn and DSTIKE :)
