What is it?

This is a fully functional, open-source MP3 player disguised as a PCB Christmas tree. It features the unique ESP32-WROOM-DA (Dual Antenna) module as the "star" of the tree.

The ESP32-WROOM-DA module has been officially marked as End-of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer. This makes this board not just a holiday decoration, but a limited edition piece of hardware history. Once these modules are gone, they are gone forever. Grab one while you can!

Why did you make it?

I wanted to create a holiday decoration that Geeks and Makers would love. Traditional ornaments are static, but this one is alive. More importantly, I wanted to create a tribute to the ESP32-WROOM-DA. Its unique dual-antenna design fits the Christmas tree aesthetic perfectly. This is my way of preserving this classic module in a fun, functional art piece.
