If you want a cable that just allows for data transfer, the ID pin will be tied to Ground.
If you want a cable that will allow for charging and data transfer, you must specify a resistor value in your Order Details. Most phones require a 100k Ohm ID resistor for this, but there are special modes enabled by some resistor values (120k, 68k, 56k, 20k, etc.). Please research what your device needs- if you need a custom resistor value not commonly available, please allow extra lead time, or order "Unsoldered".
