The currently available Z-Axis probe/Touchplates all come with short leads and a connector which limits which controllers they can be connected to.

A 30cm lead is not going to work particularly well on a 60cm x 60cm machine.

What makes it special?

This kit provides a 100cm (Approx 3 ft) lead to connect the probe to your controller, In addition to this the Screw Terminal design allows you to easily replace the leads with fresh ones if needed
