BEEP BLOOP v1.0

BEEP BLOOP the Holiday Robot is an unique functional PCB ornament that spreads holiday joy. It sports a happy face and a gold finish. At the top there is a mounting hole to be hung.

BEEP BLOOP displays a greeting on a scrolling 4x5 red LED matrix located on its chest.

You can choose from a few standard greeting, or choose to customize the message.

BEEP BLOOP is powered by one 3V coil-cell battery. Using an Energizer CR2032 battery it lasted continuously for well over a day.

Just pop in a CR2032 battery, slide the switch to the ON position and watch the words scroll by.

Customization

Customization includes only modern Latin alphabet in caps. Keep it to 60 characters in length.

Programming

I did not write the code for this project. Follow the link and you can program BEEP BLOOP yourself. Follow the diagram bellow.

BEEP BLOOP come in green solder mask with ENIG-RoHS finish and white silk screen. It is 80mm tall and 60mm wide.

Battery NOT included.
