It also includes the YM2203 and YM2413 music modules. After plugging them into the MegaGRRL, you will be able to play MSX Music and PC88/98 music.

Why did you make it?

It also includes the YM2203 and YM2413 music modules. After inserting them into MegaGRRL, you will be able to play VGM/VGZ format music from MSX Music system and PC88/98 system.

What makes it special?

One day in 2023, I want to use MegaGRRL to play MSX-Music music, so Natalie and I jointly developed OPN+OPLL MegaMod. Natalie is responsible for programming and I designed the PCB. After 5 versions of iterative updates, the following functions have been realized:
1. The YM2413 differential amplifier circuit with a single 5V power supply provides pure sound quality and high volume.
2. OPLL, OPN, SSG volume independent adjustment potentiometers.
3. Total volume adjustment potentiometer.
4. SSG stereo switch.
5. The chip select signal indicator provides simple visualization.
