What is it?

According to the famous floppy drive emulator firmware Flashfloppy project, various hardware modifications are made to Gotek, which can greatly improve the user experience.

Why did you make it?

Gotek floppy drive emulator contains a lot of variants and knockoffs, not every model can be modified hardware. So I provide the modified hardware, out of the box.

What makes it special?

In addition to some advantages of the original enhanced version of the simulated floppy drive (such as: using electronic USB flash drives to avoid the trouble of mechanical floppy drives not being able to read disks, simple installation, light and power-saving...), this upgraded version also adds the following advantages after the overall upgrade:
1. The OLED screen displays information more comprehensively and intuitively.
2. It is more convenient to select games with the knob. Unlike the previous version, which uses two buttons to select files, it is slow and inconvenient.
3. The USB flash drive is no longer limited to 100 drive letter partitions. You only need to convert the file into a new format and copy it to the USB flash drive at will. Use numbers, letters, and symbols as file names, and create folders for classification.
5. A speaker is installed to imitate the sound of a mechanical floppy drive reading a disk (weak sound), and the effect is more simulated.

It is made by hand-upgrading the new GOTEK enhanced version of the emulation floppy drive.

Larger OLED screen, black background with gold letters, more eye-catching, black body, black knobs (the knobs are available in gold, silver, and black) are more suitable for black devices such as Yamaha electronic pianos.
