The HaneSOM is the smallest Linux module with all minimum required components on the same PCB for running Linux.
The HaneSOM allows you to make as small as a possible device using Linux and various digital interfaces like LCD 24-bit RGB bus, 5MPix RGB camera interface, CAN 2.0/FD bus, WiFi module, Google Coral AI modules, and more.
The module is ultra-small, based on well-supported Microchip SAMA5D2 MPU with ARM Cortex-A5 (ARMv7 32-bit) architecture. The Microchip SAMA5D2 has very good software support for Baremetal application and as a Linux-based system (Yocto, Buildroot and OpenWRT). QT can be used as a GUI framework.
Microchip has a long-term support plan for SAMA5D2 family and it guarantees stable delivery for long-life products. SAMA5D2 is a highly integrated MPU with various industrial and consumer protocols.
Using only one single power supply = 3.3V you can run Linux immediately and starts doing your favorite product.
