Installation

This board is soldered to the backside of the mainboard of an Intellivision console. This board picks up the digitial video signal (4-bit RGBI) and serializes it to a lumacode signal. This can then be flawlessly upscaled to a pixel-perfect HDMI signal using an RGBtoHDMI device or something with equal capabilities.

Compatiblity is tested with both PAL and NTSC versions of this console.

Crisp Picture

My machine is an NTSC model 1, and Lumacode displays a perfectly sharp image after some minor tweaking to the provided rgbtohdmi profile. I have a RGB modification installed as well, and both mods work well together just fine. Like many other lumacode installs, the RF output was the best choice to run the lumacode signal to. I'm very happy with the final result!
