What is it?

An adapter PCB for 7-pin tubes (such as 6J1, 5654, 6N6, ect.) to simplify prototyping and deploying of tubes in circuits.

Why did i make these?

I made these after fussing around with chassis mount tube sockets in a few builds. I found it somehow tedious to have the pins so close to each other, to always have to have a few anchor points nearby for point to point wiring projects and to mount the socket itself.

Additional Features:

• Easily markable mounting holes (for drilling) not too close to the tube socket for easier mounting in chassis. These mounting holes are in the middle of the tube socket to give better structural integrity when inserting tubes. You could also drill with spacers directly into a wooden prototyping plate to put a design together quickly.
• Ground plane: simply connect the pin marked as "GND" to circuit GND and you've got a groundplane for your tube to shield against interferences.
• The pinheader is spaced for double-width breadboards (5,08mm) to directly use this board on one. But beware that most of the time breadboards are only designed for voltages up to 50V. you have to modify your breadboard and rip out every second row of pins to increase this voltage rating much higher. Additionally the header has two holes for each pin to simplify additional wiring while using the pinheader.
