Its a board that can convert AC to DC power. This PCB board was designed to allow the user to hook up an AC power source and convert it to a DC power source. The board was designed for a Mean Well IRM-15-12 AC-DC converter which can supply 12 volts at 1.25A. The input voltage can range from 100 VAC to 240 VAC. This is just the PCB board itself and the purchase of the other parts are required. Information regarding the other needed parts can be found in the linked datasheet.

Specifications:
It was made for a standalone project where AC was being used but 12V DC power was needed to power another electronic board that did not have any way of converting power from AC-DC. The device needed to be small and only 1 amp was needed so this tiny standalone converter was created.
It has a small footprint and can supply 12V at 1.25 amps which makes it perfect for small appliance applications or small projects that only have AC available. Purchasing this can take the place of a large bulky power supply unit were 12V at low current is needed.
