A simple board that allows the use of up to eight 1206 (3.2x1.6mm) components on a DIP adapter that is breadboard friendly. I was tired of searching around for a particular resistor or capacitor and this adapter makes it very easy to breadboard prototypes. I found some similar boards online, but in the end I thought I'd make my own.
With this little adapter not only do I have common resistances available in a breadboard friendly form, but I can also mix and match components on the board to make simple but useful circuits, for example the common combination of resistor and LED.
You can also easily make a voltage divider, low pass filter, diode protection etc., to be reused whenever you are prototyping. It is a very handy little board that I designed to make my life a bit easier - maybe it could help you as well.
Note that there are options you can purchase that include soldered parts, but soldering 1206 SMD components is easy even for beginners with practice!
