3D printed housing for the new Nano VNA V2.
It is custom designed by me, fits without any screws. Other colours possible. All ports and buttons are easily accessible and the electronics are protected.
Like many, I ordered the new Nano vna v2 from tindie. A great little device, unfortunately it is very susceptible to dust and other things because there is no housing for it. So I developed a case with Fusion360, after a few versions and many test prints, this version turned out to be the best. The goal was not to use screws or other fasteners as these are often lost. That is why this new type of housing connection with plug connector was created.
Thanks to the precise manufacture using 3D printing, this type of connection was even possible. The case is fixed by the fine horizontal layers that are created during 3D printing, these are like many small hooks that hook together with the opposite component.
Of course, you can easily open the case again. With a knife you can gently pry at one corner and slowly pry open all the sides piece by piece. The case does not break if you are careful.
