Parts : (1) RFID-RC522 Module, SPI-RJ45 Small PCB that soldered with MFRC522 and LAN Port. NOT included LAN cable. (2) 2 RFID Card (IC Card, Key Buckle) (3) 5 JST XH2.54 XH 2.54mm 2P Femal Wire cable 20cm, 26AWG for 3 digital output, 2 digital input

Why did you make it?

for various MCU based control and monitoring used lab. or experimetal environment. Longer SPI communication length possible using RJ45 LAN cable.

Someone want to longer length SPI cabling for interface MFRC522 RFID Detector, This module will be helpful for longer SPI cabling upto 10M or 20M. Cabling length depends on LAN cable type, UTP or STP(Shield).

And also length depends on SPI clock speed, Higher speed reduce the length. By the test result, MFRC522 run 1MHz on SPI peripherals with UTP cable, up to 10M communication is very stable.

What makes it special?

SPI-RJ45 LAN port for SPI serial communication length expand. SPI peripherals pins are 3.3V, RST, GND, INT, MISO, MOSI, SCLK, nCS. This pins wired to RJ45 LAN cable's...8 lines... Thus up to 10M(UTP), 20M(STP) SPI communication length expanding is possible.
