Well built with good components.

This is a really well-made part. It is obvious that these are made with care and expertise, not mass produced with cheap components. Shipping was surprisingly fast,
Good quality documentation is provided as PDF files on the seller’s website.
I haven’t needed support, but the seller has a great reputation for helpfulness. I’m glad I bought this here, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

A fantastic product from a fantastic seller

I bought the TC4 Plus for an upgrade of an older Hottop roaster. I chose the assembled version with the pre-configured Arduino board. The delivery was very fast! Unfortunately the Hungarian post office made a mistake, but the seller helped me immediately. The documentation is very detailed, the seller is incredibly helpful! The card does everything that is described: I connected SSR, 2 K thermocouple, a DC fan. The Artisan software sucked it right up, I could control everything. The end result is amazing! I turned the Hottop into a high end home coffee roaster! Thank you very, very much Matthias!

Absolutely excellent product.

I got this for a hot gun flour sifter roaster build and the control and capabilities this little device gives is incredible. Documentation is clear and easy to follow and communication from the business is excellent. If you are looking for a controller for a roaster build or retrofit of an older roaster to bring more automation to it, this is the way to go!

A must have for your Roaster

I had been roasted beans with my modified popcorn machine manually for 3 years. I had my eyes on TC4+ for a while and was a little worry about getting it because of my lack of electrician knowledge.

Finally, I made a bigger roaster with TC4+. I used UBS connection with great experience.
I was always worry about turn on the heat without fan accidentally. But the TC4+ has the Fan auto on safety setting, the Fan auto turned on to 50% power when Heat activated.
After playing around with the TC 4+, I’m going to remove all the manual buttons and controllers on my roaster, will control the roasting through Bluetooth on my laptop to keep it clean and simple.

I looked for technical support after I had some questions for the Bluetooth setup. The tech support was amazing, he had been super patient with me to answer and solve all my problems. The best support experience I ever had!!!

If you’re making your own roaster, TC4+ it’s a must have. How can a roaster without a “brain.”

Amazing product from an amazing seller

As other reviewers have pointed out, Matthias is a great communicator and is always fast to respond. The TC4+ shield is a really nifty device with everything the coffee roasting enthusiast needs to start profiling and even automating parts of the roasting process. The documentation it comes with is clear, thorough and takes you through each step of the process. It's so well written that even I, a complete Arduino newbie could get everything setup without too much bother. I did run into some issues setting up the optional bluetooth transmitter (issues of my own making), but Matthias had seemingly infinite reserves of patience in helping me diagnose the issue.

Great device, thoroughly recommend buying from this seller. You can't go wrong!

Worth the money!

I ordered the pre-assembled version. In fact, as the SMD components would have been soldered on in the kit version, I would probably haven't had a problem assembling it myself, as good as all quality is.

The shipping was fast, though I experienced a delay thanks to Brexit and COVID. In this light, it was great that I could reach the seller, who answered quickly.

The part itself is very satisfactory. It's well thought-out, offers a lot of options, is very well supported in Forums and Github repositories, and has a community you always get help in. The written documentation comes in several detailed PDFs.

And now the correct review....

This is a great little board for those starting out on the road to coffee roasting. The instructions come as a pdf and give you all of the detail for building your first air roaster. I was so encouraged how well it worked I'm now building something more adventurous!

The communication has been great and there are a load of forums out there with plenty of advice and ideas. Oh, and there's nothing quite like your own freshly roasted coffee in the morning.

A great little tool.

TC4+ Makes life easy!

This is a very well-designed board that is a huge convenience to the amateur coffee roaster. Use it with virtually any popcorn machine because it's so versatile. The guy that makes it is very knowledgeable and very helpful, the support is off the hook! You really can't go wrong with the TC4+

Turnkey board for roasting coffee with a popper.

The kit is well packaged and was shipped fast.

I'd suggest to provide as add-on even more components for those using this board with a popper, e.g. a pair of TC and an SSR.

It would also be helpful to have a printout of the most common board setup, or at least a short URL pointing to the basic setup.
