The BL-8 is a breadboard friendly 8-bit blinkenlights kit, perfect for adding retro blink to your maker projects and prototypes! Its compact form enables you to effortlessly slot 8 LEDs into any breadboard project without the annoyance of jumper wires or fiddly component placing.

The constructed kit is perfect for integrating into creative maker projects: inspecting 8-bit data buses, reading the output of a 595 shift register, creating Arduino Larsen scanners or anything else you can imagine!

Each kit features:

A beautifully designed retro style PCB by ARITH-MATIC
Low-power LEDs (~2mA operation current per LED, total max current <20mA).
Two sets of resistors for compatibility with 5v or 3.3v circuits
2.54mm header pins for easy mounting into breadboards.

Some basic soldering experience is required to assemble the kit. And, illustrated construction instructions are provided through our online assembly guide.

The BL-8 is now only available in the awesome 'royal blue' edition.
