DIY Apple II VGA Cad Kit

Our Apple II VGA Card Kit for the Apple IIe and Apple II Plus is a complete build-it-yourself kit providing a crisp RGB signal to VGA monitors rather than relying on a composite video signal. The card generates a 640 x 480 VGA signal with no color artifacts and no color fringing of monochrome text by use of a Raspberry Pi Pico processor (included). The card itself is built upon the variant designed by Vince Briel of Briel Computing.

Our kit differentiates itself from other kits in that our kit:

🍎 Contains every component needed, so you don’t have to spend time sourcing all of the components;

🍎 Contains the Apple II VGA Card that has 2U ENIG plating of the entire card instead of JLCPCB 1U;

🍎 Includes the Raspberry Pi Pico processor;

🍎 Every component is clearly labelled so that there is no question as to which component is which (especially important for the capacitors!);

🍎 Provides the necessary internal VGA cable (other kits don’t); and

🍎 Contains a 12-page full color Assembly Instructions booklet and a CD with all of the documentation and configuration files for both Apple II/II+ and Apple IIe.
