Unlike many, though, this is set up specifically for synthesizer circuits. There is a footprint for a 2x5 shrouded header for power as used in Eurorack or Kosmo format modules. There are also footprints for two Schottky diodes on the ±12V rails (or you can install 10R resistors, resettable fuses, or wire jumpers if you prefer) and two 10uF capacitors from the ±12V rails to ground. And rather than two power rails on each side, all three rails, ±12V and ground, are present on both sides of the board.
With this setup it is quick and easy to get going on prototyping your synth module idea. The repetitive tedium of setting up the power connection is gone, and you no longer have to run jumpers from one side of the board to the other to get power where you need it.
Unplated mounting holes for 3 mm screws are provided.
Just in case it's not clear, you're getting the board only. You supply and install the power header, diodes, capacitors, other parts, and inspiration for the rest.
