What is it?

This USB based MIDI Arramger Controller supports the most often used Arranger functions via SysEx messages. Button assignmeents can be changed by modifying the values in a config file saved on the controller's USB drive.

** MIDI Configuration: The controller by default is configured to the following EVM SysEx messages:

Row 1:

• Intro/End 1 (green)
• Intro/End 2 (green)
• Intro/End 3 (green)
• To End (red)

Row 2:

• Arr.A (blue)
• Arr.B (blue)
• Arr.C (blue)
• Arr.D (blue)

Row 3:

• Variation (blue)
• Fill (green)
• Break (orange)
• Start/End (red)

** Controller Encoder support: The Encoder switch is coded to cycle through the following functions when pressed. Twisting the encoder left or right changes the values for the selected function. The tempo and volume functions are timed to revert to Rotor after 60 seconds.

• Tempo Up/Down (yellow)
• Volume Up/Down (purple)

Why did you make it?

The EVM sound module supports both an HDMI and iPad based touch interface. Touch interfaces are great for casual use but do not provide tactical feedback while playing a keyboard and making config changes. This decice as small and can be placed anywhere on yoru keyboard - closer than where the touch screen is located and provides tactical feedback that we are used.

This controller is also particularly useful if you use multiple keyboards and/or have the EVM Module Touch display in a position where access to the touch screen is not convenient for a quick e.g. Arranger A, Fill or Break change.

The controller is compact, solid and hosts the most often used Arranger functions. The MIDI functions supported can be changed by modifying the configuration file on the controller's USB drive. Additionally the source code is available for you modify as needed
