Read More…The ABBY-ESP32-C3 Wireless Communication Bridge is a ready-to-go USB dongle style device allowing users to rapidly create and distribute a wireless UART bridge between two or more PC's, laptops, Raspberry Pi's, etc. The wireless protocol is peer-to-peer and does not require a connection to the Internet (no router required!).
The ABBY-ESP32-C3 was originally developed as a wireless communication bridge for machine control with 3D printers, CNC machines, or PCB pick&place machines. The wireless bridge replaces physical cables and can be expanded to manage a large number of discreet nodes. Many other applications are possible such as home/industrial automation, mesh networking, custom wireless remote control, sensor monitoring, and 'remote button' functions to name a few.
The ABBY-ESP32-C3 documentation contains a working example of a wireless UART bridge. Other wireless bridge bus protocols are possible such as I2C, I2S, SPI, CAN, or user custom designs.
The ABBY-ESP32-C3 also features a high efficiency buck-boost regulator for operation from a small Lithium-Ion battery. Battery charge circuitry with charge LED is included in the design.
