The BluBerry series, DEVCC - V28 is a development platform for PICs with intended emphasis on home automation, alternative energy harvesting and environmental monitoring. The DEVCC-V20 includes the powerful and feature rich PIC18F25K22 (Or similar device).
The PCB is equipped with headers for shields DEVCC - ProtoShield dual power supplies and an MCP2200 for when you need to interact with PCB.
No PIC programmer is required, the platform includes boot loader firmware so it is plug and play out of the box. Our focus is on producing extensible development systems that deliver useful features to our customers. We wanted to produce a development system that would cater to educational needs but also grow and enable that growth as the user became more competent with PIC devices. The base and then shield route was the practical option as this enables new shields to be produced catering to specific needs or projects.
The blueBerry series, DEVCC - V28 is not just another shield hosting platform. Rather it is an educational tool and later will evolve into a deployable system with add on shields. Our focus is on home automation and alternative energy harvesting and the shields and products to follow will enable a DEVCC-V20 user to produce awesome DIY applications
