The Vinduino R3 board contains all the electronics needed for a solar powered remote sensor platform. It is designed for optimizing agricultural irrigation, aimed at increasing crop production and optimizing irrigation water efficiency. This board represents the 3rd generation design of our remote sensor platform, and has gone through extensive vineyard field trials.
The Vinduino board is designed for continuous unattended operation. It is designed to be powered by a small solar charged battery (add option), keeping the system working during the night and during periods with cloud cover. The battery voltage can be monitored remotely to check the battery state of charge and battery health.
The board ships as assembled and tested hardware. Test code sends the measured resistance of the 4 sensor inputs every 10 seconds. You will need to program this board to meet your requirement. Arduino code examples are available on Github.
The LM-513H module, is for US 915 MHz only, and requires a LoRaWAN gateway or an available public LoRaWAN network.
The RAK4270 module, is for EU and AU, and requires a LoRaWAN gateway or an available public LoRaWAN network.
