EZ Fan PCB holds a transistor, diode and resistor, perfect to allow a Raspberry Pi's output pin to control a cooling fan or other ~higher current application. Could also be used with an Arduino or similar logic-level devices.
ONLY PCB included by default, can select parts kit, or fully assembled in options, as well as female connector wires if needed.
Using a transistor with a Raspberry Pi isn't that hard, but it does require some soldering and wire routing that many would rather not fool with.
Its compact design allows it to be wired without significant space restrictions. I wasn't able to find exactly what I wanted, so designed it. There is probably something similar out there, but in the bare PCB's case, you can customize the diode, resistor, and transistor to your needs, which may be unique.
Note that headline image doesn't include the diode, which is recommended, but not required for it to function. Diode may be different than the one pictured in the closeup, and resistor included/used may be lower than in source. Source code includes script to check the temperature on a Raspberry Pi every minute, and turn fan on or off accordingly.
