I did not find a suitable product to keep the temperature right to fuse two filaments together , so i made my own
None are available on the net .. so i did it ! The controller measures the temperature of the block and regulates the Heater by using the PID logarithm.
The filament fuser can be controlled by setting the desired temperature with a control Knob, the controller will take care to reach and keep that temperature, As a safety feature the controller can be switched off when the temperature is set less than 10. Other safety features:
Uses common 12v 3D printer heater - and aluminium block .. Uses common 100k NTC sensor Thermistor Temperatures are displayed on lcd .. PID control of temperatures ..
Now with PID auto tune mode / Normal / Aggressive modes
Set point control pot range from 0 to 300 degrees Heater control via PID ..
Set point range 0 - 10 : Switches Heater off ... Sensor detect : shuts off the heater if sensor temp is not detected. In line - Poly Fuse Pre warm-up delay to allow sensor to settle Intro Message to alert user to use a fan on hotend. 10 second delay countdown.
