The USB Tester makes it easy to monitor the current and voltage of any USB device.Designed by FriedCircuits in United States of America
Hello, thanks for visiting. We are currently moving, but should be back early July. Please feel free to contact us in the meantime.

The USB Tester is inserted inline between your USB device and your power source or computer. This allows you to make sure you are getting a true 5V source and to monitor how much power your project\device is using without having to splice open a USB cable. For example, you can check which charger/cable allows your phone to charge the fastest. Or help figure out what size battery you need for that Arduino project on your workbench. The base can be used with a Digital Multi Meter or with the OLED Backpack. The backpack allows you to see the readout directly on the display without hooking up a multimeter. The default mode shows a graph of current usage, with the button cycling through the different display modes.
The OLED Backpack can connect to a computer either using the Java app or the wizkers.io Chrome app. Both can graph and log the data which can be exported as a CSV file. Wizkers is easier to setup and can handle firmware updates.
We’d like to thank Ed for all of his help and contributions. http://www.aerodynes.fr/2013/09/08/fried-circuits-tester-multiscreen-and-energy-measurement/
