Read More…It is a classical LM317 Variable Power Supply with an additional feature that is that it has an optional "Virtual Ground" generator, making it good for powering OpAmps and all that jazz. This was made possible by a simple arrangement of dividing resistors and a beefy OpAmp as a buffer.
I made it because I needed a super simple PSU that had a bipolar output and was capable of supplying some current.
It has a bipolar output! It also has a resettable fuse for protection.
Everything needed to build it just like in the picture (i.e. Caps, resistors, LED, Opamp, Regulator, Fuse, Pot and Connectors)
