The EE893 is a optical CO2 sensor that operate on the dual wavelength NDIR principle, which stands for outstanding long term stability even in demanding environment. It is easily accessible for makers thourgh I2C bus (with slow settings).
Unfortuntely we did not make this ourselves, so why do we offer it? Because we soon will offer here a breakout board for the EE893 and as well an environmental sensor shield (for Arduino Uno and derivates) that optionally can have a EE893.
A multiple point CO2 and temperature adjustment procedure leads to excellent CO2 measurement accuracy over the entire temperature working range.
as of the low power consumption, miniature size and simple electrical connectionvEE893 are the optimal modules for battery operated devices. They can be configured and adjusted by the user to match usual maker requirements.
