Perfect for radio modules like the nRF24L01 or ESP8266. Solder a 2x5 socket and a 1x10 socket onto it and you're good to go.
Personally, I use a long-pinned stackable 1x10 header, so the board itself will fit straight onto a breadboard. That means you don't even need to fiddle around with jumper wires into it, but you've still got the sockets spare on top in case you want to.
